Universal Loader carries forward the original AutoTrickler app's control surface — rebuilt from the ground up — with the same unified Tap-to-Scan connection flow used inside GS Ballistic Suite.

Tap-to-Scan Connect

One unified scan finds any nearby supported dispenser — AutoTrickler or RCBS ChargeMaster Link — without picking a brand first. Results are tagged by brand.

Live Dispense Control

Auto and Manual dispensing with real-time weight, target set/cancel, fine adjustment and an automatic safety stop on connect.

Load Recipes

Save and recall powder charge recipes so a load's target weight is one tap away next time you're at the bench. Backup & Restore keeps every powder, recipe and calibration safe across reinstalls or a new phone.

Guided Calibration

Powder-specific AFR/TFR calibration with a history log, plus V4 session-tuning parameters — the same tuning formulas as the original AutoTrickler controller.

Beyond powder dispensers, Universal Loader scans for and controls a Shooters Global shot timer from the same Tools screen — no separate manufacturer app needed.

SG Timers — Timer / Timer 2 / Timer GO

Scan and connect to any Shooters Global timer model, then run a session with discipline-based par times, Live Fire and Dry Fire modes, a live shot list during the string, and saved run results to review afterward.

Confirmed working against real hardware. This is separate from the powder-dispenser control above — it isn't part of GS Ballistic Suite's built-in Universal Loader tool.

Confirmed and upcoming dispensers

AutoTrickler V4 and RCBS ChargeMaster Link are the confirmed, tested protocols. AutoTrickler V3 (BT05) uses the same connection flow but is implemented and not yet verified against real V3 hardware.

RCBS MatchMaster, RCBS ChargeMaster Supreme and Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper (both hardware revisions) are in active development — BLE identification for each is still being worked out, so none of the three are connectable yet.

Closed testing right now

Universal Loader is a paid app currently running as a closed test on Google Play. The Play Store listing only becomes visible and installable to accounts that have been added to the tester list — a public search or a plain store link won't work yet for anyone outside that list.

To be added, email support@gsbs.co.za with the Google account email address you want added as a tester, plus your phone model, Android version and dispenser model. Once you're on the list, Google Play will show the Universal Loader listing on that account within a few hours.

Closed testing means behaviour, screens and pricing can still change before a public release. Feedback from testers directly shapes what ships — email the same address with anything you find.
