Terms of Use
Effective date: 30 August 2026
By installing or using GS Ballistic Suite, the user agrees to these Terms of Use.
1. Intended purpose
The application provides calculation, planning, recording and reference tools for lawful precision shooting activities. It is not a substitute for professional training, safe firearm handling, verified range procedures or independent judgement.
2. User responsibility
The user is solely responsible for complying with applicable laws, confirming firearm and ammunition condition, validating zero and profile data, assessing the target and surroundings, and deciding whether any firing solution is safe and appropriate.
3. Calculation disclaimer
Ballistic and environmental results are estimates based on supplied data, mathematical models, sensor readings and external information. Errors in inputs, device readings, weather, equipment or implementation can affect results. Every solution must be verified before operational use.
4. No warranty
The application and documentation are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every firearm, load, environment or purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for injury, death, property damage, data loss, loss of profit or other direct or indirect loss arising from use of or reliance on the application.
6. Data and backups
Users are responsible for maintaining secure backups and verifying restored data. Exported files may contain sensitive or personal information.
7. Purchases and licensing
GS Ballistic Suite installs with a full-access trial for a limited period from first launch; afterward, the application continues to operate at a reduced but permanently usable free tier rather than becoming unusable. Optional module or Full Suite unlocks are one-time, non-subscription purchases processed entirely through Google Play Billing — the developer does not receive or store payment card details. Current pricing and exactly which capabilities each unlock covers are described on the Pricing page and may change over time. Purchases are tied to the purchasing Google account and are restorable to that account's other devices through the application's Restore Purchases function; refunds, billing disputes and payment-method issues are handled under Google Play's own policies, not directly by the developer.
8. Intellectual property
The application, original documentation, branding and associated content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell or create derivative works except where expressly permitted by law or written permission.
9. Third-party components and trademarks
The application may use third-party libraries, services or device protocols. Their respective terms and licences continue to apply. The application connects to and controls third-party Bluetooth hardware, including AutoTrickler powder dispensers, RCBS ChargeMaster Link and ChargeMaster Supreme scales, Area 419 MatchMaster dispensers, Kestrel, WeatherFlow and Calypso weather meters, and the Shooters Global SG Pulse. AutoTrickler, RCBS, ChargeMaster, Area 419, MatchMaster, Kestrel, WeatherFlow, Calypso, Shooters Global and SG Pulse — and the platforms referenced on the Compare page — are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to identify device compatibility or for comparison purposes. Bullet, ammunition, powder and component names in the reference catalogs are trademarks of their respective manufacturers and are used only to identify those products. GS Ballistic Suite is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those manufacturers. Any similarity in terminology, workflow or functionality to a third-party product is incidental — no code, designs or other materials were copied from those manufacturers or their software. The application communicates with this hardware over its Bluetooth interface solely to work with devices the user owns.
GS Ballistic Suite was independently designed and developed. Ballistics and reloading software in general shares industry-standard terminology — MOA, MIL, BC, DOPE, zero, spin drift and similar terms — and common workflow concepts, since applications in this space solve the same underlying problems for the same audience of shooters and reloaders. Any similarity in terminology, layout, feature set or workflow between GS Ballistic Suite and any other ballistics, reloading or shooting-related application — including those referenced on the Compare page — is coincidental and reflects that shared problem domain, not the result of copying code, designs, content or other materials from any other company or product.
10. Updates and availability
Features may be added, changed or removed. Continued compatibility with every device, Android version or accessory cannot be guaranteed indefinitely.
11. Termination
Use may be suspended where required by law, platform policy, licence conditions or material breach of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user's jurisdiction.
